Personally I tried iPhoto when it first came out (OS 9 was it?) and didn't like it. I found iView Media then and have been using it ever since. Luckily I was a registered user long before MS got their hands on it. I am up to version 3. something.
I have used the PIcasa web app and liked that but I don't see a move from iView for myself.
