I upgraded to the G5 suddenly last year when my Quicksilver G4 had
some sort of board failure and roached the system drive.  The G5 has
been very fast and dependable since I got it.  It's great to be able
to run Aperture and CS3.  Someday, I expect to bit the bullet and
upgrade to 10.5, but I'm not there yet.

I know about the space heater feature.  We heat our house with a wood
stove and the computer is in a room on the cold side of the house
which seems much warmer since the G5 moved in.

I'll keep looking for a deal on matched sticks of RAM that are Mac
rated.  I just hate paying more for possibly the same thing.  Thanks
for the help.
