May be known to some of you, but I just found the OMYGAWDTHIS IS SO DREAMY COOL!!!!11!!! app I've found in a long time.
Called Platypus, it's a program that will let you make an instant OS X application out of any interpreted script: shell scripts, perl programs, etc, <http://www.sveinbjorn.org/platypus> I was just able to wrap a rsync script into an application that one of my new Mac switchers can just double-click on and sync her new MacBook laptop with our Windows file server. She's thrilled and Apple just got a new solid convert. 8-) -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
