Hi, My SuperDrive can't write DVD-R discs any more. When I open up its system profile I get this (Dutch):
ATAPI DVD DD 2X16X4X16: Fabrikant: ATAPI Model: ATAPI DVD DD 2X16X4X16 Revisie: G7H9 Serienummer: Schijftype: CD-RW/DVD-RW Schijven branden: Niet ondersteund Verwijderbare media: Ja Externe eenheid: Nee Protocol: ATAPI Eenheidnummer: 0 Sockettype: Intern So it says that my SuperDrive doesn't support writing disks! Can System Profiler see that my DVD-writer is defective? What would be a good reliable new DVD-writer that will be supported in my Mac? I have a last generation 1.25 GHz MDD running both Panther and Tiger. Thanks for your advice.
