This, and other like issues, makes me wonder if anyone out there has ever
developed an ftp site that provided downloads of various (if not all)
versions of QuickTime, in .smi and .dmg images. I got pretty good at going
to the Apple download site and executing a physical download (vs. Performing
a software update) up to the version 6.03 (last of OS 9), but once I moved
to OS X I sadly got lazy.
Perhaps someone out there was more diligent than I.
And DANG!!!, I should have done the same thing with iTunes!!
Regards,
Dana
