Something strange just happened to my Firefox. I lost all my bookmarks.
This morning when I launched Firefox they were all gone. The jucy details: I
usually don't use airport with this computer but I did on Friday and yesterday,
no problems. But while at a friend's house, using airport, somebody
accidentally tripped over the power cable. So I had to re power the computer.
That's when the odd behaviors began, but all the bookmarks were intact (I
checked). I have PageRank and Hyperwords installed but now it seamed that they
were reinstalling because I was being asked the same questions that I was asked
when I first installed them. I went ahead and reinstalled them. Everything
worked fine. However, this morning when I launched Firefox, the same odd
behavior occured but now three other add ons were re installing (by the way
I've had most of these add ons for over a year with the exception of addblocker
and I've never had any issues). Any suggestions
as to what happened? Everything is fine with the exception that all my
bookmarks are now gone, probably floating somewhere in the ether world! Sorry
for the long windedness of this post.
Pete.
