I did LOTS of productive work with my 1000 MHz B&W G3 before having
to change to a G4 on account of software support issues.

But even then, that 1000 Mhz B&W G3 was faster than any G4 I then had.

That all changed with the dual 1.0 GHz G4, of course.

And, that dual 1.0 GHz lasted me quite a while until the dual and
quad Intel Hackentoshes became practical solutions for me.

I'm typing this on a dual 1.0 GHz Digital Audio (QS 2002 processor),
but most of my productive work is now done on dual 3.6 GHz or quad
3.2 GHz P35-based Hackentoshes (10.5.6 "vanilla" Leopard, using the
"retail" DVD distribution).
