But even then, that 1000 Mhz B&W G3 was faster than any G4 I then had. That all changed with the dual 1.0 GHz G4, of course. And, that dual 1.0 GHz lasted me quite a while until the dual and quad Intel Hackentoshes became practical solutions for me.
