That ZDnet 'comparison' was horribly biased, and nonsensical to boot. They didn't even compare the Acer with the same CPU, they got one with a Pentium D, not a core duo. No WONDER the friggin' thing was cheaper...if you look for the core duo one, you start finding $600 prices. The 750GB drive...it's cheaper because it's a 3.5" drive, not 2.5".
