No it isn't...but if you're going to compare things compare apples to  
oranges, not apples to bicycle seats.

Again...pretty much, the only reason to buy a Mac is if you want OS X.

That ZDnet 'comparison' was horribly biased, and nonsensical to boot.

They didn't even compare the Acer with the same CPU, they got one with  
a Pentium D, not a core duo. No WONDER the friggin' thing was  
cheaper...if you look for the core duo one, you start finding $600  
prices.

The 750GB drive...it's cheaper because it's a 3.5" drive, not 2.5".

Note that Dell has brought out systems to directly compete with the  
Mini, and those systems are at similar price points.
