It might help to know that a high end g4 dual is about the same as a
new imac...
well in a price to performance ratio looks like a g5 is a budget
conscious alternative.
The new macs are just as bad power hogs as the g5 though.
Wish there were more about the 'books, but again looks like a
powerbook is not too bad still... (again, especially considering the
ratio) ... after 3 years, not a really big difference at all...
Remembering apple's claim of 3-4 times speed increases which is
obviously not the case.
