Well, the pat answer is to get the Intech ATA High Capacity Driver, available for a mere $24.95 available here: http://www.speedtools.com/ There are several limitations with that driver, so read the caveats carefully before you buy or use that product. There was also a hack on themacelite.com forums, but it involved hacking Open Firmware, which is not something for the casual user to do. I did actually get the hack working on a Sawtooth. I actually recommend using neither of these methods. For the Powerbook, I'd just eat the 32GB. Paying $24.95 to access 32GB just doesn't seem cost effective, especially when you consider the risks. To get that 500GB drive working with your Quicksilver, the simplest method is to drop it into a Firewire enclosure. You can even boot off it that way.Yes, it's a little slower, but it'll save you a lot of time and needless risk.
