IIRC, you take the Finder file out of the OS 9's System Folder, place  
it on the Desktop, then close the System Folder window, and Drag the  
Finder file onto the System Folder folder icon, when it changes  
color, drop it so it goes inside.

I think that can be done when booted into the OS 9 Install CD ... its  
been a long time ... may be better to get someone else's advice ...

Wouldn't hurt to try it though.
