Yes. You can take the cloned G4 Quicksilver System and boot in via  
Firewire on the G3 and simply use it that way; or clone it again onto  
an internal HD in the G3 iMac. A lot of times using a large external  
Firewire HD is easier than upgrading a small internal HD.
