I work for an electronics recycling company. Old computers come through here by
the semi load. Rarely do we have any Macs but I found a silver Mac Pro tower
and I'd like to see if I can get it functioning again. It looks really clean
inside but it is missing ram, hard drive, and CD/DVD drive. I am totally
unfamiliar with this model since the last computer I bought was a MDD G4.

It says this inside the cover door:
G851994PRUO 60Hz PNG5/DP2.7 PCI-X/512MB 250GB SuperR9650

and the bottom has:
serial number: A1047 EMC #2061

I'd appreciate any suggestions as to what parts I need to get or where I can
find the specs. There's a chance there is something seriously wrong with it but
I won't know that till I get some ram and a CD/DVD drive installed. I figure
it's worth the shot.

If it is a waste of my time I'd appreciate that info too.
