When you download MacJanitor it should have been installed in the Applications folder and an alias in the Dock. If the alias is gone, find MacJanitor and move it to the Dock. What should move is an alias.

I know it should be done once a week when the computer is off at night. Perhaps this explains the trouble with the Sleep and other abnormalities in the G4. My son hasn't done it at all on his Intel iMac, which he's had since Fall. He needs to download it quickly!!! He just had a file corrupt much to his disappointment. This happens so rarely, could it be the lack of Macjanitor? It wouldn't trash, either. I had him restart and it went. Also gave him lecture on backups yet again. Parents haven't done it in a year. Dad's mind is not as quick as it was, I had put Macjanitor on the dock and told him to run it from time to time. I asked Mom about it today and she didn't know what it was at all, and it's disappeared from the dock. Apple Mail had a burp and that's why she called me, it was giving her an error panel "Import My Mac Mail" or some such and the Mailboxes had turned into numbers. This did clear up once she restarted. I'd say half the computer problems are fixed by a Restart, the other half by plugging something in. Okay, now, for OS 10.5, what Macjanitor and where can it be found? Did a Google search but none of them seem to be for OS 10.5. Thanks for any hints.
