I don't remember where I read this but will post it any way. Starting
with 10.5 Leopard, Apple has a fix for chron scripts not running when
they are suppose to. If your machine is off at the time they would
normally run they run the next time you startup the machine. So no
real need to be concerned about the issue any more if your running
10.5 or newer.
