Thanks for this useful response, Dan. While I waiting for response, I installed Eudora on the Pismo and was turned off with having to pay for some parts of it.
Since Qualcomm has retired it, Eudora is now free. Just
select "sponsored" mode. No ads will appear and it
will be fully functional.
