Heh... I don't like the Apple keyboards as well and when I bought my Gigabit G4, it was the first thing I replaced. I'm not sure what options you have "down under," but certainly there must be some. What I hate most about the Apple keyboards is the close proximity of the function keys to the top row of number keys. Apple could have done better. Remember the full keyboards that Apple made back in the '80's and '90's? They were great!
