i put everything back in the da box, and it all works.
i must conclude that one of the components or more don't like the qs.
i need it all, so it doesn't matter what the exact cause of the
problem was.
the da box is still not visible to the lan ports of my maxpower
router,
 so i guess another router is in order here.
