Hello,

OWC tech support helped me out. They had me delete a folder and a
file in the System folder of my System 9 boot disk. The offending
folder was called multiprocessing and the file was Apple CPU Plugins.

I also discovered that I was running System 9.2.1 instead of 9.2.2
which is required for the CPU accelerator I bought. My digital audio
G4 will now boot into system 10.4.11 or System 9.2.2.

As far as the Pioneer DVD burner goes it still won't burn any CD's. I
still get the Sense Key = Medium Error, Sense Code = 0x73, 0x03.

I've upgraded to the latest version of Toast 9 with no change and
iTunes gets some error, too. According to the troubleshooting page I
read at Roxio the solution is either to switch to another brand of CD-
R or my drive is taking a crap.
