I decided to try pressing the CUDA, to see if the Power Button  
management logic board may have become corrupt as suggested in another  
thread's reference to CUDA/PMU :

Seems to have solved the issue ... maybe early,  first reconnection  
did not Power Up on simply reconnecting the power.
