The Dual 800 is a 2001 model, the single 800 is 2002 and therefore does NOT have the 128 Gb drive limit. I have an 800 QS with a 320 Gb drive and 1.25 Gb RAM in it. I upgraded the video card to an ATI 9200, in part as I wanted DVI output. I don't think there is a BEST video card. I tend to think that unless you are really pushing things that any of the more modern cards (ATI 7000+) are sufficient. With this vintage of Mac you do need to consider the video output ports. A lot of the cards that came with Macs then had a VGA port and an ADC port. I'm avoiding using ADC as it's a dead end. If VGA is acceptable then that is all good. I'm trying to move toward DVI-I since it will also work with VGA if needed. -- Clark Martin Redwood City, CA, USA Macintosh / Internet Consulting "I'm a designated driver on the Information Super Highway" --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
