It sounds like your using Safari? It always does this to me too... I now 
use FireFox 3.5.1 and I have no problem like this anymore!!! Also with FireFox 
it doesn't open another window it uses tabs in the same window and you can 
click from tab to tab to tab without trouble of any kind!!!   CoolKat
