Ron, Clark, everybody,

Thank you for all of the great advice, however, I was informed that  
this is not an appropriate topic for the G-group, and belongs in the  
G-Books group. I was not aware there was one... So I am trying  
(unsuccessfully) to repost over there. Actually, after Clark's last  
reply, I may not need to post it there anyway.  Again, thanks for all  
the great advice.

As clearly stipulated in the trailer of every Group message,  
including your three messages in this Off-Topic thread, the LEM G- 
Group is for discussions about G3, G4, and G5 DESKTOP Macs, of which  
your Lombard is not.  Please move this thread to the G-books Group,  
and refrain from posting Off-Topic messages to our Group in the future.
