Out of curiosity, what do you intend to use the USB 1.1 ports for? (I'm assuming you meant USB v1.1 since AFAIK v1.0 was not widely adopted.) I've got a PC laptop (or maybe two) around here which only has USB 1.1 ports. The only thing USB 1.1 is good for (IMO) is attaching low data rate peripherals such as a mouse or keyboard or printer or maybe moving non-big files to/from USB attached storage. I suppose it would be OK for copying pictures from a camera if they weren't too big and you had patience. OTOH, I have also tried to use USB v1.1 to attach an external drive. My experience was that it really won't work for most of the things people might want to use an external drive for these days.
