Yes, I agree but only in respect to the general performance. The  
specific issue of looking at the screen in VGA or DVI, I doubt if  
anyone can tell the difference for screens 24" or less for normal  
operation. I bought this nice 24" and ran it on DVI for a while but  
my arrangement with a second monitor necessitated I use the VGA port  
instead. I was so reluctant to do this! But in fact it made  
absolutely no difference that I could tell! It is fine!

But I did notice a nice jump in speed and other quality when I  
upgraded my graphics card.
