Scrap (recycle) these and get any new or used LCD monitor(s). There are advantages to both your health, and your electric bill that will literally allow the LCD monitors to "pay for themselves" in saved electricity alone. If you don't believe this, look at ANY profitable business in America where the ONLY factor is the BOTTOM LINE. CRTs are gone, replaced with LCDs across the board. It's because of the undeniable economic advantages. Even if your 1980's CRTs were to be magically repaired for free, they're still money losers in the long run, not to mention vision, headache, and other problems associated with CRT emissive radiation. Get any cheap or used LCD, I've seen 15" for $25 used, and who knows about new, the prices drop by the minute. Craig's list is a good place for used, or LEM-Swap with a WTB ad.
