Bruce... well, this morning I booted to the dreaded blue screen..
selected to boot into verbose a while back and noticed the I had a
couple of "timeouts" before the machine would go to the blue screen.
So, I basically did what Stewie said and pulled everything down her
"undies" .. and since I have a good chunk of ram and peripherals
plugged into the ol' gal, it took a minute to do. After unplugging
everything, yup, started right up fine and fast. after about two hours
of testing, I found that the timeouts believe it or not, were coming
from a "Speedzter 5" enclosure that I have a superdrive in. It seems
that the "Oxford 911 chip" was the problem child? I'd plug it in...
blue screen, unplug.. booted fine. So I guess it's USB only for that
enclosure? or might there be a fix? hmm... and I honestly don't know
why it worked fine up until this point. Maybe it's a combination of
things? don't know. Jeff
