Logitech makes great mice, but they have crappy driver software.

Logitech Control Center (LCC) includes a module called "LCC Scroll
Enhancer". It is a VERY buggy evil InputManager -- that loads into
EVERYTHING running on your system, causing all sorts of problems.

To fix LCC, uninstall Scroll Enhancer then replace the lost
functionality with MouseZoom and (optionally) Spark.

Manually trash *ALL* of LCC Scroll Enhancer:

/Library/Application Enhancers/LCC Scroll Enhancer.ape
/Library/Application Support/Logitech/LCC Scroll Enhancer.bundle
/Library/InputManagers/LCC Scroll Enhancer Loader
/Library/ScriptingAdditions/LCC Scroll Enhancer Loader.osax

The .ape might not be there, if you're using a more up to date version of LCC.

After removing the above, go check your user ~/Library/ folder for the same.

Then install MouseZoom, a free system preferences pane.

Note that the dmg archive contains two versions, 2.2 intel and 2.1 for ppc.

I also recommend Spark, to make various key/button assignments.

Then be sure to reboot your Mac to fully unload that @#$% inputmanager!
