www.macsales.com has good hardware for external cases:

I'm using a Mercury Elite Pro Classic style from awhile ago.

Also have their miniStack 2.5 from newertech with a 1.5TB Seagate SATA
drive. The miniStack also gives me extra FW/USB ports as long as it is
turned on (I was hoping the extra ports would work without the HD
turned on ... but I don't think they do).

You can get a Seagate SATA drive fairly reasonable there, also, but
sometimes a little cheaper elsewhere for the external case:

Both are covered by tech support at OWC, but you may not even need
that part ... its there if you do.

OWC could recommend an internal for your iBook ... don't know anything
about them ...

Good Luck
