One of the RAM slots in my PowerMac G4 FW800 seems to be defective (consistent system hangs when RAM is in the slot, has been operating fine since I pulled it. The RAM stick appears to be good)
If I replace one of my 512MB sticks with a 1GB stick (equaling 2GB over 3 sticks), will my computer read it properly? Or does each slot have a hard limit of 512 MB?
