Hello,

You do not put drives in through the front of the MDD.

You open up the MDD.

Next you remove the drive cage.
(4 or 5 screws, and disconnect the drive cables).

You put the new drive into the drive cage.
(The rear of drive goes into the front of the drive cage).

You then re-attach the drive cage.
(4 or 5 screws, and reattach the drive cables).
