Depends on how much you like old macs IMHO.
Probably quite true (grin). This G4 Sawtooth hasn't given me any headaches worth mentioning in the short time I've had it (beyond the ones I induced myself during the "I didn't know any better" phase), I just thought I'd see what my options were. I may go the replace-the-entire-machine route, but I **still** want to investigate the "what are my physical options for CPU upgrade" route just for my own knowledge first. I'm infinitely curious :) And who knows, maybe an 800 mhz CPU is available for next to dirt on one of the swap lists :) That would still put me in a better place than the Sawtooth is in now, and I wouldn't have another machine cluttering up my place for a while :)
