Just a question here... and I believe that I'm right in saying
that this
will not work, but here goes.... my monitor has VGA & DVI
connections, can
these be used to hook up 2 macs? and simply switch between the two
via the
monitor buttons on the front?
It will work. I've done it with several monitors.
My current 20" LCD has VGA and DVI. My PC is connected to VGA and the
Mac to DVI. I press the input button and it switches to the other
input. Works like a charm.
I wonder if this is possible on a monitor without an input button...
My 21" LCD has both inputs but no visible way to swap them, unless
its automatic. Unfortunately i dont have a computer with DVI to test
my theory...
