My 9700 Pro worked fine for about 1-1/2 years, then I started having problems with my G5. I thought I had sorted out the problem by removing the 9700 Pro from the G5, but just recently my problem came back. So the 9700 is *not* to blame. It's probably a PSU problem, which is expensive to rectify, and will probably fate my G5 to the recycle bin.
