One of the best and cheapest processor upgrades for a Sawtooth is a Dual 500 MHz (from a Gig-e G4). They are pretty easy to find. Make sure to check your machine first to see if it can handle a dual processor, only Uni-N 7 or later can handle DPs. You can use http://newertech.com/tech_support/uni-north.php to check compatability. For a the cheapest, easiest and fastest hard drive I would go with a 7200 RPM 120 GB hard drive with an 8 MB cache.
