I suggest that you fix it up and get that piece of history back on it's feet, because a pismo G3 doesn't just come around the ocrner too much anymore. I am not sure of this, but i don't think that Powerbook G3 laptops are able to run OS X due to some processor peroblem or some limitiation. Maybe it was the wallstreet G3, os something. Anyways, pack in as much RAM as the laptop allows, fix up the case, and for performance, use Jaguar, but Tiger would still go good on it. Also, get the AirPort card that goes with it. There are 3 in atock at www.midwestnotebooks.com and they go for $30 each. Also, what in the worls is Divx? if it has at least one USB port on it, you can get yourself a bluetooth usb adapter for $20 at Wal-mart. Don't change the CPU. What is in there is probably best for what you already have in terms of CPU stuff. Any mre questions, come to me. I am not expirienced with Pismo G3 laptops, but i do contain knowledge of G3 computers because i own 3 Macintosh computers which use that processor. A G3 graphite iMac, a clamshell iBook (i am using it now...) and a beige PM G3. I have a 4th mac but it's a PM G4 graphite.
