I have a phone (not an iPhone). I use it to speak to people. It's not fancy but I like the fact that it is shockproof, dustproof, and waterproof! I've dropped it a couple of times and it's still working. I spilt a cup of coffee on it: it's still working.
I have a nice Mac (actually several G4/G5/intel) at home that run Mac OS and do all that I need them too. I also brought a Mac to work that performs better than the company supplied WinXP machine. I have to hide it away from the IT guys, under my desk ;-) For my mobile computing I still have my trusty G4 12" PowerBook. It has been around the world a number of times and given me sterling service since 2003. It has gone from being my primary computer, to being what I bring on vacations. I value portability in a mobile device, which is why I've kept it, but now I believe it is time to replace it with a 3G iPad. I think the iPad WILL fill my gap. If I bought a 13" MacBook Pro (which I was considering) then I suspect all my other machines would become redundant, and that would become my main machine. An iPad compliments and therefore extends the life of my current machines. I think, therefore iPad! --- On Sun, 4/18/10, Mark Sokolovsky <[email protected]> wrote: Guys and gals, I just want to survey some of you who respond to me by replying to me.
