You're right... sawtooth PM g4 is very reliable. I have a 400Mhz PowerPC G4 CPU, 2GB SDRAM, 64MB ATI RADEON 9000 (i pulled the video card as a spare part from a quicksilver). It's running Leopard flawlessly. Front row is great, dashboard is no longer choppy, andi can open stacks without freezing. I thought my PM G4 was really being killed under leopard, because maybe i thought that such an old G4 can't handle it. In reality, Leopard was slow until i trashed that old ATI RAGE 128PRO card with 16MB of VRAM. After i got the new replacement video card, my system ran leopard much faster, and much more efficiently. The system runs great under leopard even though it has less that half the processing power required for leopard because leopard requires 512MB of RAM. 1GB is decent, but i have an extra 1GB to compensate for the missing 467MHz. It works fine.
