If this is more than a one time thing for you then you might consider something like Total Video Converter from Biggasoft, it imports and exports just about any file format for video. http://www.bigasoft.com If this is just a one time thing you might find someone local with FinalCut to do the conversion for you. I'm surprised that the manufacturer's software didn't come with the ability to convert their files to something more universal.
