Can not get hp printer working on G4 with odd error msg
After several removes and reinstalls, odd error message is still given:
client-error-request-value-too-long.
BUT Since I have two partitions, one Home and one Business, both running
10.4.11 and one works just fine, but the other does not. So we know the printer
and wire is all ok.
The good one shows different Name in Printer Browser:
Good -- Name Photosmart C4100 series -- Print Using Photosmart C4100 series
Print & Fax in System Pref shows printer
Bad ---- Name Photosmart C4100 series -- Print Using HP All-in-One 5.3.1
Print & Fax in System Pref shows nothing - blank
HP had me uninstall 3 times. Why is Request Value too long? Can I fix it? Need
some help.
