I have weird stuff going on.

I think there may be a short in my USB hub. Anyway, I put my Digital
Audio G4 to sleep and it wakes up. It will do it within a couple of
minutes and it got to the point where I sat at the computer and put it
to sleep just to see if it would stay asleep.

Nope, it would wake up all on its own.

Then I got PO'd and shut it down completely.

Now, this is the weird part, that thing would power up on its own all
by itself with no action from me.

After more investigating, I noticed that whenever it would wake up
there was a very faint electrical click sound coming from the area of
the hub and then the computer would wake up.

I discovered that sometimes I could get the computer to wake up just
by futzing around with the hub. I couldn't do it every time. I got the
computer to wake up just by closing the hatch on the side. All the
electrical connections look like they're tight.

I can also get the computer to wake up by kicking the desk, or by
slamming the lid on the toilet which is in the next room.

I'm thinking the problem is in the hub.

Several years ago with a previous USB hub I could get this computer to
reboot just by messing with the connections at the hub.

For some reason I was having troubles with hardware issues that I
couldn't figure out. Finally, it seemed that the PRAM battery had died
so I replaced it. I am not completely sure, but I am fairly certain
that the original PRAM battery was installed backwards. The current
PRAM battery is in properly seated.

I bought this computer used. It's a really good computer even though
it is ten or eleven years out of date.

PS. I can't find my damn F3 key. My shop vac ate it and I sifted
through the stuff twice and got dust in my lungs. Yuck!
Is there a place where I can get a replacement F3 key? Or do I need a
new keyboard? I never have used my F3 key, my keyboard just looks
bucktoothed.
