Now, in my mind this scenario should work like a charm using leopard 10.5.8/ frontrow on the mini? but when I try to stream a movie, it buffers to death making it impossible to view the movie. am I doing something wrong here? Jeff

Does the Mini play the stream well when hooked direct to cable source?
Plays very well when hooked directly.

Enough RAM for the Mini to buffer?
        1 gb (max)

Background processes turned off or minimized ?
nothing else running (I think) need to do a bit of homework here.

Enough memory allocation to the app?
        How do I do this?
