Thanks everyone. After trying several different things I have decided to throw in the towel. My old iMovie 1.0 from the original Quicksilver install disks works fine for what I use it for and actually runs under Leopard. It was the other applications especially iPhoto that I needed which is why I bought iLife 08 anyway. I just wanted to try this to see if it would work for kicks more then a need to get it working and it is going nowhere so I will stick with what I have. :-) Thanks anyway.
