When you restart, it still said fsck NOT DONE, WHY is this wrong?
Journaling takes care of the file system, and when a HD has
journaling, fsck isn't done:

You'd only need fsck IF you run Disk Utility>Verify Disk and it FAILS
and says the HD needs repair.
You can run fsck manually from single user mode boot; or by running
Disk Utility>Repair Disk from another bootable System or disc.
This raises an interesting question. How dangerous is it to run a volume
without journaling? I ask because occasionally boot up Linux, and Linux
can not mount an HFS+ volume read/write if journaling is enabled. Can I
safely turn off journaling in order to get write access to my HFS+ drive?
Thanks,
Eric
