Upgraded a MDD to Leopard ---

New hardware Dual 2.0 G5 w/Leopard

External HDDs, Firewire (4 partitions) & USB (4 partitions)

[Presently back to X.4.11 on the MDD to be able to get on-line. Leopard seems to refuse to use the internal Modems.]

Problem noted Once Leopard has been installed on either hardware, "Option" on startup routine doesn't work.
Oh the 'possibles' show up, but the system won't boot from them.

IF no internal partition can be found to boot from, it WILL use the First physical partition on the Firewire device.

To add interest to the problem, the external partitions now show as 'Custom' --> Get Info/Ownership|Permissions. [Can't find a way to clear this problem, also the partitions don't show up on the Desktop, but Do show up in 'Disk Utility' -- Owner may be Yes or No/ 'Mount/ Unmount' won't make them show up on the Desktop.]

Trying to get at files seems to be impossible 'You don't have permission.'

Grrrr!!!!!!!
