Hy to everyone!
Since I bought my Powermac G4 Dual 1.25 MDD, I can hear from time to time
this very strange sound, believe it or not, like a bee. This sound has quite
a high frequency, and it just stars for no obvious reason, lasting for about
1 second and ending with this sound, which you can hear the very moment when
you press the power button to boot the computer. I think that it has
something to do with the hard drive.
Perhaps this is just hard drive spinning up, and I would really like to
believe it. I am just buying another 1GB of RAM and I do not want for the
computer to crash or the hard drive to die. Apart from that, there are no
other problems, except this crash some days ago, which happened during
night, because of a unresolved kernel trap (I think it was 0x30 or something
like that).
Please help!
