I also have problems with my MDD PSU and on German eBay I found a guy who fixes both types, Samsung and Actel. He claims to revise them and remove all weaknesses so the fixed PSU should last at least 8 more years. He gives a 3-year warranty.The price is about 120 US$ plus shipping. Used MDD PSUs go for about the same price on eBay and you never know when those will fail as they are stock ones ... I think I will go for it. Maybe there is a company in the US that does the same thing.
