Why do you believe they're .jpeg format?
My guess is you've got some other format.
All I received are files called "Attachment 5, Attachment 6. ect. I
can open
them in a text editor like TextEdit or in Firefox
Can't you just drag 'n drop the individual photos from TextEdit or
Firefox directly onto your desktop? Then open these desktop files with
something like GraphicConverter or PhotoShop.
