The color right 2.0 software runs just fine under os 9.2.2. It will not run under classic in os x10.4.? Because the application cannot communicate with the GPIB card. There are three configurations I can try here - turn off the os9 GPIB drivers, and leave the OSX drivers on, the opposite, or the option to have the drivers on in both the os9 window as well as os-x. All three configurations won't work.
This is really the same scenario that the griffin folks ran into when trying to get the imate adb to USB adapter to work when using a classic application in os-x - looks like they solved the problem by having an option in the os-x driver that allows a user to select an option in the driver to "allow classic to take control of the image adaptor". So that probably means that the only way to get this to work is to modify the GPIB os-x driver somehow to allow classic to control it. -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
