There is no 'commercial version' of VueScan. The difference between the the two 
versions is that the lower cost one only gets you one version of update, the 
'professional' version gets you perpetual updates.

In terms of functionality they're identical. 

That said, VueScan is *definitely* worth every penny. I heartily recommend it, 
it's head and shoulders above the craptacular software that comes with most 
consumer scanners. Just make sure your scanner is supported first.

Yes, you can scan right out of Photoshop.
